What is recorded here

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Lynturk Church as Church (19th Century) (1866). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Lynturk Church, built in the 19th century, is a small rural church located in the Scottish Highlands, traditionally associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer. Local tradition holds that Saint Fillan founded a monastic site in the area, and the church may stand on or near an earlier sacred site linked to his missionary work and healing wells.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
