St Cyor (also spelled Cyric or Cyres) is a lesser-known Cornish saint, traditionally associated with healing and protection, with several holy wells and churches named after him in Cornwall. The holy well at Luxulyan is linked to local traditions of water worship and may have been a site of pilgrimage for cures, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin.
