Lurdenlaw is a medieval tower house in the Scottish Borders, built to withstand siege and storm. Its stones still stand where human life once moved with purpose under pressure. The tower may have housed a family, guarded a boundary, or simply endured the centuries. Whatever it did, it survived.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Lurdenlaw as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
