This blue commemorative plaque records: LOWEWOOD Built c. 1750, Lowewood was the home of members of the Warner family from 1835 until 1935. It was bought by Douglas Day Taylor and given to the townspeople for use as a library and museum. The library relocated in 1977 and Lowewood now houses the Borough of Broxbourne museum.
