This blue commemorative plaque records: Louisa Ryland (1814 - 1889) Philanthropist, who in 1873 gifted land and the funds to create Cannon Hill Park to be "a source of healthful recreation to the people of Birmingham." One of many gifts she made to our city. Recorded plaque organisation: Birmingham Civic Society.
