What is recorded here

Three ruined churches stand together on a small island in Loughinisland Lake, County Down, their stones marking centuries of worship from the 13th to the 17th centuries. The North Church still shows much of its frame, with gables, side walls, a west doorway and a narrow window above it. A causeway now crosses water that once isolated the island, letting visitors walk into a graveyard where medieval life still seems paused rather than lost.
Loughinisland Churches is recorded as a archaeological place in County Down. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
