What is recorded here

Eight IRA volunteers died in Loughgall on 8 May 1987 after crashing a bombed digger through an RUC base, only to drive into a hidden SAS ambush that mowed them down like rabbits in a field. Two were unarmed when they fell, and an innocent civilian lost his life in the crossfire, turning a military victory into a moral wound. The village still carries that sudden violence, where courage, mistake and cruelty collided before the dust even settled.
Loughgall Ambush is a terrorist attack in County Armagh, Ireland.
