BENEDICTA SOMERS [d. 1855]…sent to establish the Institute of The Blessed Virgin Mary in Gorey' while an opposing monument commemorates her brother 'FRANCIS SOMERS ESQre. [d. 1850]…exalted by the gifts of a noble mind generous heart sincerity in friendship simplicity in manner and the accomplishments suited to the legal profession'.
