Llechwedd Du is shown as a mountain / peak on the public map of Gwynedd. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Llechwedd Du rises to approximately 550 metres and is part of the rugged terrain of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range. Its name, meaning "Black Veil" in Welsh, likely refers to its dark, steep-sided appearance, possibly enhanced by shadow or vegetation. The hill matters as a topographical feature within the culturally and geologically significant landscape of Gwynedd.
