What is recorded here

Lissyar-ramore is a faded fairy fort on a Galway rise, its thirty-six-metre circle reduced to a shallow scarp and a broken outer ditch. Field boundaries have cut through the ancient earthwork, proving that human ambition often treats mystery as obstacle rather than partner. The fort still holds its shape in the grass, waiting for someone reckless enough to sit inside and listen for the tenants who never left.

On a rise in undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (D 36m) defined by a degraded scarp and external fosse; the latter survives from W through N to NE.
