Lissandoree is a vanished Cork ringfort where forgotten hands likely built, breached and forgot again. Its ghost still resists cultivation: an uncultivated circle, a buried bank, two oaks marking the edge and a shadow visible only from above. The land has not understood the lesson; it is waiting for someone to stop measuring it like a mistake.

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842, 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; arc formed by earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.5m) survives S->WSW; two oak trees planted on external bank face. Area of enclosure remains uncultivated; field clearance material dumped on line of levelled bank to W and WNW. Levelled part of circular enclosure visible as cropmark of bank and external fosse in aerial photograph (GSIAP, W413).
