What is recorded here

Lisherriddy Fort is a faded oval rath on a west-facing Galway slope, its earthworks reduced to a shallow scarp and ghostly bank traces. The shape still measures fifty-eight metres across, large enough to hold a village or a hundred dancing shadows. What is missing has not vanished; it has surrendered to grass and rain, waiting for someone to walk the ridge and remember the weight of the place.

On a W-facing slope in grassland. Very poorly preserved oval rath (E-W 58m, N-S c. 45m) defined by a degraded inner scarp, with traces of an intervening fosse and outer bank from NE through E to SE.
