Lisborneen Beg is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ringfort where the boundary between human law and old magic grows thin. People may have built it, abandoned it, or simply stopped asking permission to leave it alone. The earth remains shaped like a chamber waiting for breath, not a hole dug for nothing.

Lisborneen Beg, Kilcloher is a likely early-medieval ringfort, or fairy fort, traditionally associated with supernatural or otherworldly folklore common to such sites in Irish tradition. These forts were often believed to be entrances to the realm of the fairies or ancient royal dwellings.
