What is recorded here

Lindsay Act is a twentieth-century lugger lost in Castlebay Harbour, Barra. The sea took the wooden ship, but the harbour still holds the shape of its absence. People may imagine the crew, the cargo and the storm that ended the voyage, yet no clear event is recorded. The chamberlain ledger and local memory leave a gap where the story should be.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Lindsay Act: Castlebay Harbour, Barra, Sea of the Hebrides as Lugger (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
