Lindertis stood in Angus from the 16th century until demolition in 1987, transforming from a medieval castle into a 19th-century mansion before disappearing. The west wing survived the 1947 roof removal and housed estate workers until the final destruction, preserving a brief snapshot of domestic life within the grand structure.
