Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Lewis, Garrabost, Cnoc Nan Dursainean as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. It represents a significant example of early communal burial and ritual practice in the prehistoric landscape of Lewis.
