Lew Elder

Lew Elder was born in County Derry, Ireland, on 10 March 1905, before becoming a Canadian cyclist who competed in three events at the 1928 Summer Olympics. The boy likely first felt road speed and distance in that northern Irish landscape, carrying the rhythm of those early miles into Olympic competition.
