Lethendry Castle is a small L-shaped medieval tower house in the Highland whose basement and two storeys were swallowed by the farm buildings of Wester Lethendry. Jacobite soldiers occupied it during the Battle of Cromdale in 1690, turning a private stronghold into a temporary military anchor. Its rubble walls and lime mortar still mark the boundary between domestic routine and armed danger.
