Inchcleraun holds two possible leachts, one pressed against the east gable of Templemurry and another seven metres southwest. The church-side bed measures 3.8 by 2.8 metres, its shallow rectangular tray framed by a double row of low stones set on edge. It is easy to picture someone lying there after dark, not dead but waiting for heat, company or the end of a long road.

Within the ecclesiastical enclosure (LF021-048001-) on Inchcleraun, against the E gable of ‘Templemurry’ (LF021-048006-). This possible leacht or 'Saints Bed' is rectangular in plan (ext. dims. 3.8m E-W; 2.8m N-S; H 0.4m) and is defined by a double row of low orthostats set on edge. Another possible leacht (LF021-048015-) lies c. 7m to the SW of the church. Linked to early Christian monastic activity on Inchcleraun, the leacht may be associated with Saint Fintan of Clonenagh or local monastic saints, reflecting a tradition of holy resting places used by ascetics or pilgrims. Such structures often held spiritual significance, believed to be sites of prayer, penance, or miraculous cures.
