Leacht in Church Island (iveragh By., Loughcurrane Ed) is a rectangular stone mound, 3.3m long, 3m wide and .65m high, built with upright slabs to hold a stepped earth core. Local tradition credits it as the grave of St Finan, though no written record confirms that name. The stones still stand in a small island setting, marking a death or devotion so old it has become landscape.
