Landing Place, Abercastle is a Post Medieval landing point where boats touched the Pembrokeshire coast. It is not a grand port or a forgotten town, but a functional edge where water and land met repeatedly. People may have carried goods, letters or themselves across that small distance, depending on tide and weather. The name preserves the act of landing rather than the identity of the people who landed.
