The Italian Chapel on Lamb Holm, Orkney, was built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II, around 1942–1943, and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Constructed from scrap materials, it is a unique example of wartime craftsmanship and holds cultural significance as a symbol of resilience and faith.
