The *Lake Nuechatte* was a steamship lost in 1939 in Kirk Sound, Scapa Flow, Orkney. The vessel struck a rock and sank, resulting in the loss of all 34 crew members; its wreck remains a significant maritime casualty of the pre-World War II era.
