What is recorded here

Laght is a wayside cairn in County Galway, Ireland. It marks a route rather than a single chamber, perhaps guiding travellers across open ground when roads were fewer and distance was greater. Stones stacked at a crossing suggest people wanted the path remembered, even if the name has faded from most modern conversation.
