What is recorded here

Laght is a modest wayside cairn in County Galway, built from local stone to mark a path or honour a forgotten life. It stands away from grand monuments, doing the quiet work of guiding travellers through open country. Such small heaps have served people for generations, giving shape to distance and memory alike.
