Detached three-bay two-storey former steward's house, built c.1855, front elevation having gable to each bay and middle bay projecting slightly. West side elevation having three-bay first floor and four-bay ground floor. Pitched slate roofs with six rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed replacement windows throughout. Tudor-arch doorway having panelled door and flanked by sidelights having label-mouldings.
This former steward's house forms part of the historic Kylemore Abbey estate. It is enhanced by the various Tudor Revival features and along with the adjacent estate farmyard it forms a feature of interest on the main Galway to Clifden road.
