Knockaunnagall Childrens Burying Ground occupies a narrow rectangular rise in County Galway, measuring nineteen and a half metres north to south and twelve metres east to west. An overgrown bank curves from the east toward the south while a slight western scarp completes the boundary, enclosing grave-markers aligned east to west within the pasture. The small size and separate location suggest a community set aside this particular patch for its youngest members, keeping their departure distinct from adult burial practices.

On a rise in undulating pastureland. This rectangular children's burial ground (19.5m N-S; 12m E-W) is defined by an overgrown bank from E to S and by a slight scarp at W.
