The *Kiruna* was a Swedish steamship that ran aground on Muckle Skerry in the Pentland Firth in 1945. The vessel was carrying a cargo of iron ore, and while no lives were lost, the ship was wrecked; its remains are recorded in Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment as a significant 20th-century shipwreck.
