Kirkbog, St Ninian's Well

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kirkbog, St Ninian's Well as Holy Well (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

St Ninian's Well is associated with St Ninian, an early Christian saint linked to the conversion of the Picts in southern Scotland. Holy wells dedicated to him were often believed to have healing properties, particularly for skin ailments and general well-being.
