What is recorded here

Kippen, Castlehill of Dasher holds a Bronze Age cinerary urn, a small vessel that carried death into soil long before written memory. The hill may have watched herds, storms and passing feet while the urn waited beneath grass. Someone placed ash inside, perhaps with ribbon, honey or a final song, then hid the jar from rain and forgetting.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kippen, Castlehill of Dasher as Cinerary Urn (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
