What is recorded here

Killonerry Church stands as a forgotten marker in County Kilkenny, its walls perhaps long gone but its purpose still embedded in the earth. It may have hosted weddings, funerals and quiet prayers before disappearing from memory, leaving only a name behind. The site preserves the shape of a lost community, waiting for someone to imagine the lives that once gathered there.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
