Killeen Laghts stands as a disused burial ground in County Kilkenny, marked only by the official kind Church despite lacking a visible building. The name suggests a place set aside for the dead long before modern roads or surveys touched it. People may have walked there in rain or drought to lay someone beneath the soil, then left without monument or memory. What remains is the shape of that choice: a field where love became dirt, and dirt became silence.
