Kilhilt is a medieval tower house in Inch parish, Dumfries and Galloway, recorded near Lochans Village and connected to the Barony of Kinhilt. It may have stood as a small defensive home for local power, watching fields, water and passing people. Much of its life is gone, but the name still marks a place where families, law and memory became entangled.
