What is recorded here

Kessock to Redcastle holds buried chambers where the sea has already stripped away their stone skins. Miller wrote in 1835 that the shore revealed wooden beams, urns and human bones, while crannogs still populate the nearby firth. The coastline keeps changing the address of death, dragging old rooms into salt and foam.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kessock to Redcastle as Cairn(s) (period Unassigned), Human Remains (period Unassigned), Cinerary Urn(s) (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
