Keremma

Wreck

What is recorded here

Keremma is shown as a wreck on the public map of Aberdeenshire. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
The *Keremma* was a 19th-century British steamship that sank in 1882 off the coast of Aberdeenshire after striking a reef. It was lost with all 14 crew members, and its cargo of coal and general merchandise was also lost; the wreck remains a notable example of early Scottish steam navigation.
