What is recorded here

This blue commemorative plaque records: In this building Norris Brothers designed the famous 'Bluebird CN7' in which Donald Campbell CBE took the World Land Speed Record to 403.1 mph in 1964, and in 1967 bravely gave his life attempting the World Water Speed Record in Norris Brothers' 'Bluebird K7'. This plaque marks the 50th anniversary of that tragic, but epic event. Recorded plaque organisation: Burgess Hill District Lions Club, Burgess Hill Local History Society.
Kenneth, Lewis, and Eric Norris were British engineers who founded Norris Brothers, a company renowned for designing high-speed vehicles like the Bluebird CN7. Their designs played a crucial role in setting world speed records with Donald Campbell at the helm.
