Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kennemerland: Stoura Stack, Out Skerries as Dutch East Indiaman (17th Century)-(1664). The Kennemerland was a Dutch East Indiaman wrecked in 1664 near the Stoura Stack, Out Skerries, Orkney. It was lost in a storm, resulting in the deaths of all 33 crew members and the loss of valuable cargo, including textiles and spices; the wreck is significant as a well-preserved 17th-century merchant vessel, offering insights into Dutch trade and shipbuilding of the period.
