This marble commemorative plaque records: In memory of John Beverley Nichols. 9th September 1898 - 15th September 1983. Writer, playwright, journalist and composer. Glatton was his home from 1928 - 1937 and his resting place. Recorded plaque organisation: The Fenland Trust.
