This bronze commemorative plaque records: In this house Bishop James Grant Titular Bishop of Eretria, Vicar Apostolic of the Lowland District died on the 3rd December, 1778 and Bishop John Geddes Titular Bishop of Morocco Co-Adjutor to Bishop George Hay Vicar Apostolic of the Lowland District on the 11th February, 1799. R.I.P.
