What is recorded here

Tenakill House in County Laois birthed James Fintan Lalor in 1807, the pale boy whose writings would later ignite Irish revolution. An infant accident left him semi-crippled, yet he grew into a powerful voice for Young Ireland, fighting through pens before swords. He died young in 1849, but his ideas ran forward like water under a door, shaping Davitt, Connolly and Pearse long after the house went quiet.

Why this person is known: Irish revolutionary and journalist (1807–1849)
