Invergordon, Castle Road, Mural stands as a recorded mural in Highland, Scotland, though no date or creator is attached to its name. The wall may have marked a boundary, celebrated a event, or simply covered a crack before anyone thought to paint it. A person may have stood beneath it in rain, watching colour bleed or hold, knowing the town would outlive the brushstroke. The mural still belongs to the road, not to a museum, and it refuses to explain itself.
