Located on the N side of Cook Street. It was the residence of the Burnell family who are documented from the early 15th-century (Gilbert 1854-9, 1, 296-7; Bradley & King 1987,I, 26; FMD map (1978) M5). Excavations in 1992 on ground reclaimed in the 13th century between the town wall and the River Liffey exposed building debris associated with Ham Green pottery (Meenan, R 1992, 20).
