Ingleborough Cavern is a limestone cave located beneath the Ingleborough hill in the Yorkshire Dales, formed through millennia of water erosion. The cavern has been visited by humans for thousands of years and contains archaeological remains, including prehistoric artifacts and evidence of early mining for lead and fluorspar.
