In pasture, on summit of ridge sloping sharply to W. Commanding view to W. Raised (H 1.5m) circular area (56m N-S; 56m E-W), enclosed by low (H 0.4m) earthen bank, with external fosse (0.5m). Entrance (Wth 5.1m) with causeway on E, rises to interior. S and W sides have been quarried. Locals say two outer banks were levelled during clearance.
