What is recorded here
Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. It stands as a cashel, marking the kind of place where people once lived, defended themselves or kept animals close. The stones may have excluded rain, entry or forgetting. Whatever the boundary was built to hold, it still draws attention because the shape remains visible.
