What is recorded here

Indicated is a subcircular cashel in low-lying Galway grassland, its overgrown drystone wall still marking a space nearly thirty metres across. The name itself points at the shape: a ring visible in the field, not hidden beneath soil or legend. People may have lived there, tended it, or abandoned it when the land changed, but the wall remains clear enough to walk around and imagine.
