What is recorded here

Situated at the junction of three field boundaries on a gentle W-facing slope. Oval area (diam. 30m N-S, 24m E-W) defined along the W perimeter by a bank with external drystone facing (max. Wth 4m; H 1.4m at NW; 0.4m at SW) and by a shallow scarp (max. H 0.5m) from N-E-S. A fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.25m) survives from S-W. No evidence of an entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
