What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular earthen fort in County Mayo, Ireland. It is not a hidden fantasy, though local names often sound like fantasy. The measurement is plain: thirty-seven metres north to south, thirty-eight metres east to west, with a one metre thirty bank and a possible southern entrance nearly four metres wide. That much is known. The rest is judgment, memory and the shape left behind.

In level pasture. Circular area (37m N-S; 38m E-W), enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.3m), with possible entrance on S (Wth 3.8m). Man-made underground passage (MA118-013002-) in NE of interior.
