Situated on a low, level N-S ridge. Listed as ‘Field system’ under the number CL006-049---- in the SMR (1992) and under the number CL006-049001- in the RMP (1996). Indicated on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a field system of apparently modern construction covering an area c. 250m N-S by c. 150m E-W with 5-6 rectilinear fields defined by single drystone walls with flags set vertically and leaning against each other.
