What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. The local name hints that the place may have been marked or shown rather than invented. A simple cashel still stands where human hands shaped stone into a boundary, perhaps for shelter, ownership or ceremony. The exact purpose has faded, but the stones still suggest that people lived there with intention.
